Hi !

In five days I'll hit the road with the band Silver Dust, who's the support act for the european tour of Lordi, alongside to the band Shiraz Lane. I just can't wait!

I'll be with them for 5 days for the following gigs:

Dans cinq jours, je pars rejoindre le groupe Silver Dust, qui ouvre sur la tournée européenne du groupe Lordi, avec le groupe Shiraz Lane également. Je suis impatiente d'y être!

If you're new on the page, my project is about making a book with tour stories from bands on the road. But I thought that making a book about touring would be better if I had already toured once.

That’s why… I'M PACKING ON THE TOURBUS OF SILVER DUST in Novembre, to follom them in Ireland and UK where they will be opening for Lordi. I will also be writting a Tour Report on Daily Rock.

This is all turning great so far!

Si tu es nouveau sur la page, mon projet est de créer un livre rassemblant des anecdotes de groupes en tournée. Mais je me suis dit qu'écrire un livre à propos des tournées serait mieux si j'avais déjà participé à une tournée.

C’est pourquoi… en novembre J'EMBARQUE DANS LE TOURBUS DE SILVER DUST pour faire quelques date en leur compagnie sur leur tournée de support à Lordi, en Irlande et en Angleterre. J'écrirai également un Tour Report pour Daily Rock.

Ca se passe vraiment bien jusqu'ici!

Un article rapide pour vous dire que le projet avance vraiment bien. Cela prend beaucoup de temps car je passe actuellement presque tout mon temps lire à me déplacer pour rencontrer des groupes à travers la Suisse. Comme récolter les anecdotes prend beaucoup de temps, et comme je n'ai jamais publié de livre, ce sera un peu l'aventure et c'est carrément impossible de dire pour l'instant quand ce sera terminé. Mais j'adore faire ça, genre, BEAUCOUP. Plus bas, la liste actualisée des groupes qui participent au projet.

Quick article to let you know that the project keep on going very well. It takes a lot of time because I'm currently speeding a lot of my free time traveling around Switzerland to meet some bands. As collecting the stories takes a lot of time, and as I've never published a book before, it's gonna be quite an adventure and it's pretty impossible to say now how much time it's gonna take. But I enjoy it, like, A LOT! Here the list of the bands so far:

Le projet avance bien, je suis encore en train de récolter des anecdotes. et je suis actuellement à la recherche d'un éditeur intéressé par le projet. Dans le cas où je n'en trouverais pas, un crowdfunding sera organisé.


Dans tous les cas, les anecdotes seront partagées sur ce blog à la fin.

So far the project is going on well, and I'm still looking for stories from bands.. I'm looking for a publisher because I would really like it to be a book in the end . If I can't find one, I'll try to do it with a crowdfunding.

Bienvenue sur la page du projet Bands On Tour!

J'ai lu récemment un article qui m'a donné l'idée de démarrer ce projet. Je cherche à rassembler des témoignages de groupes de rock (au sens large), connus ou non, venant de partout, pour en faire un article de journal, de blog, peut-être même un livre. Mais on n'en est pas encore là.

Il s'agit de rassembler des anecdotes de groupes en tournée. Que ce soit des anecdotes WTF, drôles, émouvantes, longues ou courtes...

Pour l'instant, difficile de dire quand ce sera prêt et ce que ça deviendra exactement.

Welcome on the Bands On Tour project page!

A few days ago, I read an article that gave me an idea to start this new project.

The project is about collecting stories from rock bands (from around the world) during their tour. Weither it's funny stories, moving or awkward stories, long or short… In the end I plan to write an article (magazine or blog) or maybe even a book. But we're not there yet!

It's not easy to already know when it will be done or even what it's gonna become.
